Had a good time being a RRFC student. I learned a lot in the studio they sent me and worked with some great audio engineers with lots of experience. I learned to do mixing and mastering on pro tools even though I had no experience with that daw. I learned tons as well from RRFC Audio Engineering & Music Production course. Only things I would like them to improve is their chapters are sometimes confusing and might miss a couple details for the test. Overall though its a great program for some hands on experience.

Great service and great instructors, definitely recommend it, the experience with my instructor was great, patience and direct, great way to go from the basics to the finals again, affordable specially if you work on the side, and great help and focusing your future, specially with the plus that is the plug ins and virtual help that they give!

If you want to learn how to mix and master music and learn how about everything used in a
professional studio then look this way at RRFC.
I was paired with a engineer in Chicago by the name of Joe Delfino who owns his own
studio called Miller Street Studios. Joe is very good at what he does and is a great
teacher, He is able to break down every lesson and make the concepts very easy to understand.
From learning about Pro Tools to what all the equipment in a studio does to learning about
the best way add acoustic treatment to a room.
I also had an amazing academic facilitator/mentor Sam Zulfer. I'm glad I was paired with
him cause we both have a passion for edm/dubstep music and he was able to help me with my
production skills with weekly hour long sessions over Zoom.
Overall RRFC was able to give me the knowlege on how to be an audio enginer and work with
artists in the studio. From recording them sing/play instruments to mastering the final
product in pro tools.

If you've been looking for a way to drastically increase your skill and knowledge of audio engineering then RRFC should be at the top of your list
The entire staff from the heads all the way to each and every mentor you'll come in contact with is there for you every step of the way and will ensure you get what you need from them when you need it.
I had the blessing of learning under my mentor Joe Delfino at Miller Street Studios and couldn't have asked for a better example to look up to. He clearly and consistently is able to articulate any lesson/technique as well as explain it thoroughly, on top of being an outstanding engineer. Joe is very good at breaking the typical teacher/student barrier and embraces an environment that lets the student collaboratively experience the lesson opposed to reading about it and remembering on a test where you don't physically practice what you've learned.
I also had the incredible online mentor/adviser Sam Zulfer. Having someone you can contact and have a session from your bedroom with is such an asset, especially one as knowledgeable and technical as Sam. He was a huge factor in me staying on track as well as for cementing what i learned in house at the studio.
above all though RRFC has transformed who i am as an engineer, and how i approach music as a whole. it doesn't feel real that I've gained this much understanding of the practice in such a short time. I'm extremely proud of what I've become because of it and i couldn't have done it without the whole team
