This is my second time using Michael’s and my second time with Felix’s team. Before move in day Michael’s was communicative and I knew exactly what to expect from the process. On move in day I received a call about 20 minutes before my move in time. The team arrived exactly on time and got right to work. I needed help packing a few more things and they jumped right in. I was able to purchase packing material to wrap and protect my furniture. They expertly packed my truck and maximized every inch. They were friendly and polite and worked very hard. I’ve moved several times and Michael’s and especially Felix’s team were the best!

I am saddened by the lack of quality service, in our country today. TOO often, cutting corners, continually working to speed things up and lowering standards have become the norm. Today, I called Michael’s Moving and Storage, speaking with David. I had a strange request, in that I wanted to “sneak in” a last-minute, unplanned move for my son, who was attempting to move out of a 4-room apartment, with a U-Haul, his brothers and his buddies! (I had serious reservations!) David Never made me feel like I was crazy for even Making such a last-minute request. Instead, his attitude was, “Well, let’s see if we can make this happen..” And he did! Not even 2 hours later, 3 young men were at the apartment. They were polite, respectful, fast and efficient. The move put me at ease and was a huge relief to my son! Should anyone ask me, in the future, who I would recommend as a moving company, it would be Michael’s Moving and Storage, Hands Down.

Hilbert, Pablo and Edwin helped us with our move from Massachusetts to New York. They were extremely careful with all of our stuff and very efficient with both sides of the move. They were very helpful with all last minute changes / additional items that needed to be wrapped or boxed.

Michael's Moving & Storage sent us 3 people to complete a move from a studio basement space to a house an hour away. They were outstanding in their efforts to finish packing us up and carefully handling all our belongings. They even transported a 6ft long fish tank and metal fish tank stand that had to go up and down a small set of stairs and they did so with a great amount of care and caution. It was very easy to add an inventory of all the items we anticipated in our move and we were well within the quoted amount which was easy to get an estimate on and to communicate with the team over phone or messages online. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend them and consider them for future moves. Thank you so much!!

Angel, Lee, and Will were beyond fantastic. They arrived on time and took out my 14 boxes without batting an eye. They assembled the hanging garment boxes I had bought and emptied my closets. All before the even got to moving furniture! They made sure they all of my furniture that could be scratched or broken was wrapped. And they put all of the furniture I did not want into a dumpster. That was such a relief. When they got to their destination, they checked where I wanted to store the boxes until I had time to decide where I wanted them. They went up and down stairs with no complaints, and were gracious when I mistakenly asked them to put a bureau in the wrong room- even after they had attached the mirrors. They double checked that everything was where I wanted and moved things when I changed my mind. What I facing with great anxiety ended up being so easy thanks to these 3 men. Thanks, guys.

The process of quoting was quick and easy, and automated on the website, pretty intuitive overall. Bryan called the next morning and asked thoughtful questions regarding the move to better understand how best to tweak the quote and prepare for the move (e.g. how big a crew and truck based off the amount/type of items needed to move). He was able to answers all my questions and was nice and respectful. The company called and emailed a few times leading up to the move as a reminder. The emails and account page were upfront about costs and organized with the info. Regarding the move itself, Juan and his crew were on time, upbeat, fast, careful, strong, respectful, and efficient.

My family and I have moved a lot over the last decade. Often times it’s long distance moves across continents. This time, it was a local move. Out of all the moves I’ve ever coordinated, I can confidentially say this was the smoothest, and most expeditious move experience I’ve had. Gilberth and his crew of five others were energetic, quick, efficient professionals. They packed up two trucks for a family of five across four floors in under two hours. A hey expertly took great care of our possessions even the most delicate ones. They unpacked, assembled, expertly delivered and unwrapped items exactly as I wanted in each room. Gilberth’s communication throughout was above and beyond what I’ve ever experienced. For once, on move day I’ve not felt overwhelmed or exhausted with a to do list that’s a mile long before anyone can get into bed. I would hire Michael’s again and request Gilberth and his crew. Working with Michael’s was one of the smoothest interactions from requesting a quote to moving day. If I’m looking to move or have items moved for me, I will definitely go back to Michael’s again.

They are absolutely incredible - Juan and his team were efficient and quick moving visiting 3 different pick up zones and move everything out into one space SO quickly and carefully. I think this was my (4th?) move with Michael’s and I will continue to only use them (although I’m REALLY hoping we are in this house for good!). You can’t go wrong with working this team! ————— I am blown away by Michael's Moving and Storage! I am a type-A, planning person so I booked my August move a few months earlier in mid-May. Michael's sales team was awesome, they walked me through the whole process, sent me quotes and answered every question I had. Leading up to the move, I had a question about permitting and they looked into it for me as well. They didn't offer to get permits which I know some other moving companies take care for you but the $$ was so much more affordable than anywhere else I found. I had two pick up locations and one drop off and I was tight on time as the drop off spot I could only reserve permitting for until 11 AM. Angel, Willy and Sig called 15 minutes before the earliest end of my pick-up hour range (I was told 7-8 was the earliest and I got a call at 6:45 saying they were on the way!). Angel, Willy and Sig were incredible efficient, professional and friendly. They did an INCREDIBLE job. It was not an easy pick up with the two locations and narrow Boston streets and they navigated a giant truck through it all. Honestly I am blown away. I seriously would look no further than Michael's for your move!

Had to move furniture that was bigger than expected and was concerned about getting it up two flights of stairs. I am writing the second review of my life and I am old. I just returned from moving my daughter from 02114 to 02129. I was not looking forward to it because I have past moving experiences that have left scars. Felix and his team of Michael's Movers were on time, had a great attitude, were super efficient, and totally of service to my daughter and I. They worked SOOO hard and it was a tough work.........the new place has two sets of very steep stairs and some of the furniture was big and heavy. I really don't know how they did it, but they did. The furniture was nicely wrapped and carefully moved from one apartment to another without a scratch. So, if you are needing a move I truly recommend Team Felix with Michael's Movers. They were a pleasure to share this otherwise gruesome task with.

They were super efficient and very fast. They took extreme care of our belongings by wrapping them in bubble wraps and blankets while transferring them to the truck. It was the best experience ever. My experience with Michael movies company was great. They took very good care of my furniture. Cover up and taped up everything I like that it's. When you looking for a moving company think Michael the company that cares.

Everything went perfectly. It was smooth and efficient and I was grateful I could get it done next day- Christmas eve no less! The guys were great.

Michaels Movers were on time and well-equipped! The movers were friendly, professional, and quick. They took very good care of our belongings, wrapped everything tightly in blankets and tape, and handled each item with caution. The movers asked questions about specific items to ensure they ended up where I wanted them at the new house and were in constant communication with the unpacking and reassembly. They were excellent and even offered to again move items to different locations in the room or house at our request. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better job being done. Best of all, the price was extremely fair! As much as I never want to move again, if I had to, I would use Michaels Movers in a heartbeat.

I needed to move fairly quickly from Boston area to Albuquerque, NM. She wanted to make sure that I had everything I needed and made sure I was quoted correctly. I’ve used other moving companies and let me tell you this company is too notch. They were very reasonable and made my move stressful. Thank you, Jacklyn. We have moved numerous times, and this was by far our best experience. Bryan our rep was responsive and flexible with our needs, even when we had to delay our move by two weeks. The team from Michael's was very professional and helpful with my move in Boston yesterday. Every item was meticulously wrapped prior to being loaded on the truck. Upon delivery to the new house, they were able to fit some very challenging pieces up a very old, very small staircase - truly saved us there. The team was very communicative and made sure to understand what went where for efficient placement. The electronic estimation and booking process also made reserving for my move date super easy. No surprises when it came time to sign off on the final payment. Would highly recommend their services for a Boston-based move!

We used Michael's Moving and Storage's long distance moving service back in 2023, moving from Los Angeles to Dallas. This was our first long distance move ever and to say we were anxious about the whole ordeal is an understatement. Michael's made the entire process smooth and easy to navigate. I have researched cross country movers extensively and picked Michael's. No moving company is perfect and all of the ones I researched (Allied, Colonial, JK, northAmerican, Two Men, etc. etc. etc.) had issues with being late, damaged furniture(s) or missing items, but Michael's have exceeded our expectations after all was said and done. Their online portal and inventory system makes quotation a breeze and the quote came very close to what we were charged. I booked a moving contract with Michael's and paid a $500 deposit about 6 months before our move and I continuously updated our inventory list as our move-out day approached. More importantly, if you have any concerns, you can call their hotline and someone is always there to exist you (including paying any balance over the phone). Their online messaging system accessible through their portal is also on point and I usually get my questions answered the same day or within 24 hours. On move-out day, the movers arrived early and got done moving boxes and furnitures out of our 3 bedroom 1,550 square feet home in Los Angeles in about 4 hours, which included 60+ boxes of varying sizes, washer, drier, disassembling our king bed and our son's twin sized Corvette bed. If you ran out of boxes or decide on your moving day to have certain items packaged up by Michael's crew, no problem. They have all the packaging supplies on hand to accommodate you on the spot. The entire move took about 2½, weeks from start to finish - Los Angeles to Dallas, which was within the timeframe that Michael's promised. Delivery took half the time of pick-up, only 2½, hours total, which included reassembling our son's Corvette twin bed (but not our King bed.- we decided to replace it). Our stuff sat in a storage warehouse in Irvine, CA for about 2 weeks before it started crossing state lines. Michael's team leaders (both pick up and drop off) are very efficient and communicates well. The movers are equally efficient and hardworking (we gave them each a very generous tip). Out of over 60 boxes, we only had 2 gone missing. But that's okay because they contained mostly old cookware that we were planning on replacing anyways. Most importantly, nothing broke inside boxes that were labeled as "fragile, handle with care." We packed as many valuables, especially irreplaceable valuables and important documents as much as we can in our cars for the drive to Texas, but those that did not make the cut (such as BluRays, video game consoles and video games), we placed an AirTag in their boxes and had Michael's deliver them and they all arrived. I knocked off one star because we did place a label on every single box with our destination address and our moving contract #, including a phone number and an email but no one ever contacted us regarding any of our 2 missing boxes. The total cost to move was very reasonable and competitive. I was quoted by various van lines with worse reviews at upwards to $15k! Michael's charged us a little over ⅓ of that. Pro-tip 1: I can't emphasize this enough but always move personal items of value and irreplaceable items yourself. Pro-tip 2: Box and pack everything yourself if you want to save a considerable amount of $$$. Pro-tip 3: We used ToteScan to mark each and every one of our moving boxes with an individualized QR code label that contains an itemization (and picture) of our items.

This moving company is great. They relocated one of my fitness studio's with care, efficiency, and great communication. The office staff and crew are very nice and respectful. They took care with my equipment and still managed to complete their work very quickly. I would definitely recommend them!

Excellent service top to finish. Arrived promptly and gave notification of when the team would be arriving. Worked efficiently over the course of 4.5 hours. All items arrived in perfect condition. Anjel and his group were amazing. We were able to get fully situated in our apartment within the day thanks to the team.

Felix's team took care of my roommate and I's first move to a new apartment. Everyone was so friendly and they definitely knew what they were doing. Some of our furniture wasn't put together properly to begin with, but they took the time to fix things and pack everything super securely. Nothing arrived broken from storage and they were SO fast. Also super quiet, we were sitting on our balcony and you wouldn't think we had movers in our apartment with how peaceful it was. I hired Michael’s movers to move my 1 bedroom on a short distance local move. The whole thing took 2 hours to move me out and move me in. I was moving up to a third floor apartment with a narrow stairwell, which probably would have taken me and some buddies hours, if not all day. These guys knocked it out inside of 45 minutes. The storage option was also convenient as it let me stagger my move around the insanity that is Boston on 9/1. Highly recommended.

Fantastic moving experience. The three-person team that helped me move was efficient, professional, and truly expert at what they did. I was shocked with how quickly my apartment was emptied and my items were loaded on the truck and ready to go. Not a single piece of furniture was damaged and all of my larger items were expertly disassembled and reassembled. This was by far the least stressful and best executed move I have experienced. I highly recommend using Michael’s movers! They are punctual, communicative and efficient. I had a crew of Angel, Elmer, Jose that helped with my move and when they arrived they ready to get the ball rolling. They were able to complete my move in 2 hours and 45 min which was faster than projected. Working with their sales team was easy too, from the first phone call they made everything very easy! I had to call back and make some changes to my move and they were happy to help and accommodate. They made payment easy AND were way less expensive than movers I’ve used in the passed. They didn’t have a crazy high minimum or a high deposit.

They brought a truck large enough to hold everything we had comfortably with extra space. They had extra supplies in case we needed it. They were incredibly efficient, kind, and helpful. They did in THREE hours what an out-of-state crew did in NINE (including wrapping, taping, disassembly, and transport). Once we arrived at the new place, they were flexible as well as my elevator was rented to someone else, and they finished reassembly, placement, unwrapping, and hanging in three hours. They finished before their estimated time and made sure that I was satisfied with the placement of everything before signing off. So far, everything seems and looks amazing. The consideration with them is unmatched. If I have to move again, THIS is the EXACT SAME CREW I’d want to help me. I HIGHLY recommend them and Bryan (sales rep) to help you with your move! The staff at Michael's Moving and Storage helped me tremendously in navigating my relocation from the Boston area to Maryland. From my first call with staff to get preliminary information, I felt thoroughly satisfied with the details they gave me, appreciative of their professional advice, and confident that this would be the right the company to choose--and it was!! Special shout out to Bryan and Ian for their patience with all of my questions throughout this process! I used Michael's from soup to nuts, so to speak. I bought boxes from them, conveniently delivered to me in advance to pack myself, as well as had them "build" boxes on site during the move for my larger and odd-shaped items, including fragile lamps and artwork. The very friendly crew arrived at the house right on time and efficiently wrapped up my furniture and carried it out, along with over 50 boxes, carefully onto their truck. As planned in advance, all my belongings were moved into one of their storage units in Boston, while I made my way to Maryland over four days. As they made their way down to Maryland the day after I got there, the crew kept me apprised of their estimated arrival time, which varied only slightly due to traffic. It was a so great seeing their truck rolling up the street! It was a different crew than who had moved me out of my house, and they were just as friendly, efficient, and careful in unloading as the first crew had been.
