I was shocked with how quickly my apartment was emptied and my items were loaded on the truck and ready to go. Not a single piece of furniture was damaged and all of my larger items were expertly disassembled and reassembled. This was by far the best executed move I have experienced. However, their estimate was 40% lower than my final price, which felt dishonest and scammy. Sure, they charge by the hour and it took a while longer than expected, but the last hour they charged me in full had started 10 minutes earlier and it took the movers 20 mins to "finalize my bill" so despite the good experience, I did feel taken advantage of.

I had the best experience this September 1st with the Michael’s Movers team not only did they pack up my items in record time they took great care in wrapping my furniture, and packaging my art going the extra mile to keep all my items safe during the move. The team of 3 arrived at 7:45 AM (15 minutes before the quoted time), and were finished before 9:30 AM. They spoke directly with the property manager to ensure they were using the proper entrances, and really went above and beyond to make this moving day so easy. For any future moves I will be using this company, and I have nothing but glowing recommendations.

They got all of our furniture disassembled, loaded onto their truck and unpacked quickly and efficiently! Our closing date was pushed back last minute and we lost our initial movers. Michael's was able to accommodate us last minute and came out to central mass to pack us up, hold our items for two nights and came back out to unload us. The movers were very professional and efficient. I am extremely pleased and grateful for them.

These guys were great! They kept in touch with updates and arrival times. I was able to add last minute things like the outside BBQ which I forgot to count. When they arrived they were on time and did not stop moving the whole time. Or furniture was all wrapped and nothing got damaged. They were friendly and the price was so worth it, especially when it was so hot! My son used them when he moved and we would reconnect them to everyone! Thanks Michael's movers!!

We recently used Michael’s Movers for our move on July 30th, 2025, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Not only did the crew handle everything with care and efficiency on moving day, but their customer service truly went above and beyond after the move was complete. The day after settling in, we noticed a couple of issues: my mom's adjustable bed frame wasn’t functioning properly—it wouldn’t lift or activate the massage feature—and we discovered that the power cable for our small couch had somehow gotten stuck inside the frame. I gave the company a call, expecting to maybe be walked through a fix or told it would be an extra charge to have someone come back out. To my surprise and relief, they were incredibly responsive and professional. A team member came out the very same day, resolved both issues quickly, and made sure everything was working perfectly—all at no additional charge. Their attitude was helpful and kind, and they treated the situation as if it were just as important as moving day itself. This level of care and follow-through is rare these days. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michaels Movers to anyone looking for reliable, honest movers who stand by their work. A+ service all around!

They calmed me down, said they would take care of everything, and got right to work. They were efficient, friendly and FAST; all on a day that temperatures reached 90+. On move in day I received a call about 20 minutes before my move in time. The team arrived exactly on time and got right to work. I needed help packing a few more things and they jumped right in. I was able to purchase packing material to wrap and protect my furniture. They expertly packed my truck and maximized every inch. They were friendly and polite and worked very hard. I’ve moved several times and Michael’s and especially Felix’s team were the best!

I am saddened by the lack of quality service, in our country today. TOO often, cutting corners, continually working to speed things up and lowering standards have become the norm. Today, I called Michael’s Moving and Storage, speaking with David. I had a strange request, in that I wanted to “sneak in” a last-minute, unplanned move for my son, who was attempting to move out of a 4-room apartment, with a U-Haul, his brothers and his buddies! (I had serious reservations!) David Never made me feel like I was crazy for even Making such a last-minute request. Instead, his attitude was, “Well, let’s see if we can make this happen..” And he did! Not even 2 hours later, 3 young men were at the apartment. They were polite, respectful, fast and efficient. The move put me at ease and was a huge relief to my son! Should anyone ask me, in the future, who I would recommend as a moving company, it would be Michael’s Moving and Storage, Hands Down.

Hilbert, Pablo and Edwin helped us with our move from Massachusetts to New York. They were extremely careful with all of our stuff and very efficient with both sides of the move. They were very helpful with all last minute changes / additional items that needed to be wrapped or boxed.

Michael's Moving & Storage sent us 3 people to complete a move from a studio basement space to a house an hour away. They were outstanding in their efforts to finish packing us up and carefully handling all our belongings. They even transported a 6ft long fish tank and metal fish tank stand that had to go up and down a small set of stairs and they did so with a great amount of care and caution. It was very easy to add an inventory of all the items we anticipated in our move and we were well within the quoted amount which was easy to get an estimate on and to communicate with the team over phone or messages online. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend them and consider them for future moves. Thank you so much!!

We needed moving services last-minute and David at Michael's Moving went above and beyond to get us scheduled, even when it was a holiday weekend and extremely short notice. Even when we had lots of questions and had to keep adjusting the moving window, he helped us tremendously every step of the way. Angel, Lee, and Will were beyond fantastic. They arrived on time and took out my 14 boxes without batting an eye. They assembled the hanging garment boxes I had bought and emptied my closets. All before the even got to moving furniture! They made sure they all of my furniture that could be scratched or broken was wrapped. And they put all of the furniture I did not want into a dumpster. That was such a relief. When they got to their destination, they checked where I wanted to store the boxes until I had time to decide where I wanted them. They went up and down stairs with no complaints, and were gracious when I mistakenly asked them to put a bureau in the wrong room- even after they had attached the mirrors. They double checked that everything was where I wanted and moved things when I changed my mind. What I facing with great anxiety ended up being so easy thanks to these 3 men. Thanks, guys.

The process of quoting was quick and easy, and automated on the website, pretty intuitive overall. Bryan called the next morning and asked thoughtful questions regarding the move to better understand how best to tweak the quote and prepare for the move (e.g. how big a crew and truck based off the amount/type of items needed to move). He was able to answers all my questions and was nice and respectful. The company called and emailed a few times leading up to the move as a reminder. The emails and account page were upfront about costs and organized with the info. Regarding the move itself, Juan and his crew were on time, upbeat, fast, careful, strong, respectful, and efficient.

My family and I have moved a lot over the last decade. Often times it’s long distance moves across continents. This time, it was a local move. Out of all the moves I’ve ever coordinated, I can confidentially say this was the smoothest, and most expeditious move experience I’ve had. Gilberth and his crew of five others were energetic, quick, efficient professionals. They packed up two trucks for a family of five across four floors in under two hours. A hey expertly took great care of our possessions even the most delicate ones. They unpacked, assembled, expertly delivered and unwrapped items exactly as I wanted in each room. Gilberth’s communication throughout was above and beyond what I’ve ever experienced. For once, on move day I’ve not felt overwhelmed or exhausted with a to do list that’s a mile long before anyone can get into bed. I would hire Michael’s again and request Gilberth and his crew. Working with Michael’s was one of the smoothest interactions from requesting a quote to moving day. If I’m looking to move or have items moved for me, I will definitely go back to Michael’s again.

The truck they use versus other movers I’ve seen had a liftgate which I was very impressed with, these guys know what they’re doing when it comes to handling your valuables and moving them into to your desired location. Update: 5/9/2025 An update from my last review 4 years ago as Michael’s has seen me through another move today! They are absolutely incredible - Juan and his team were efficient and quick moving visiting 3 different pick up zones and move everything out into one space SO quickly and carefully. I think this was my (4th?) move with Michael’s and I will continue to only use them (although I’m REALLY hoping we are in this house for good!). You can’t go wrong with working this team! ————— I am blown away by Michael's Moving and Storage! I am a type-A, planning person so I booked my August move a few months earlier in mid-May. Michael's sales team was awesome, they walked me through the whole process, sent me quotes and answered every question I had. Leading up to the move, I had a question about permitting and they looked into it for me as well. They didn't offer to get permits which I know some other moving companies take care for you but the $$ was so much more affordable than anywhere else I found. I had two pick up locations and one drop off and I was tight on time as the drop off spot I could only reserve permitting for until 11 AM. Angel, Willy and Sig called 15 minutes before the earliest end of my pick-up hour range (I was told 7-8 was the earliest and I got a call at 6:45 saying they were on the way!). Angel, Willy and Sig were incredible efficient, professional and friendly. They did an INCREDIBLE job. It was not an easy pick up with the two locations and narrow Boston streets and they navigated a giant truck through it all. Honestly I am blown away. I seriously would look no further than Michael's for your move!

Had to move furniture that was bigger than expected and was concerned about getting it up two flights of stairs. They scheduled quickly and were able to come same day and got it up two flights of stairs. Impressive strength, fast service, and a good price. Would definitely recommend them and use them gain.

We worked with Freddy, Sigfredo and Daniel to move a large piano locally. The team was on time, friendly/professional, and great to work with. They also did an excellent job disassembling and packing the piano for a safe and quick move. Really appreciate their hard work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
