Bottom Line: I got caught using my cell phone twice between a 90 day period 3 years ago during COVID. Yes, terrible luck! Anyhow, after doing some research and understanding the repercussion of getting 2 tickets which equals 10 points against my license, I did my homework and found James Meadows. I came across James Meadows through Yelp and Google. No referral, no "I got a guy" through a buddy, simply old school research and I found James and I believed in him. After paying $750 (I think the price has slightly increased since 2021) to represent me on 2 traffic tickets = Result is he beat 1 ticket with a "Not Guilty" verdict in Spring 2023 and he beat the second ticket with a "Case Dismissed" in Summer 2024. Hiring James Meadows was worth every penny for someone who lives in NYC. I hope I don't get a traffic ticket again but if I do, "In James Meadows, I Trust". Another ticket, another reduction! From Speeding to Littering :) As with any court case, there is no 100% guarantee. People leaving bad reviews don't realize that they already committed an infraction and are now expecting an automatic dismissal of the case. They must understand that it does not always work out that way, but Mr Medow's team sure tries their best!

Amazing experience using James and his office. The communication and response with James and his team couldnt have been any better, which helped me to remain at ease throughout my court process. I was given a ticket/ summons to appear in court for speeding which is 6 points off the license. My son received a speeding ticket soon after the speed limit was reduced on Hylan Blvd in Staten Island. Worried about the possibility of points, I hired attorney James Medows. I did a lot of research and was impressed with the reviews. I also read that it is very difficult to win cases in the Staten Island TVB, which has the highest conviction rate in NYC. Attorney James Medows was upfront and kept me informed at each step of the process and at each adjournment. Several days ago, I was informed that my son was found not guilty. I am extremely happy with the results and, most importantly, with his honesty upfront that Staten Island TVB can be difficult to win a case (it's win or lose - no plea bargaining). Traffic laws are unfair and if you don't hire an attorney, you will have to pay. At least you have a fighting chance to mitigate the penalty. James Meadows did just that for me. Unfairly I got pulled over untangling my IPOD at a red light. The officer knew it was unfair as I was not using my phone but the written law as is gives you 100% liability. While you pay in legal fees, the damage in points didn't occur. HIRE JAMES MEADOWS, he will minimize the damage!
