My wife and I really enjoyed working with the staff at High Point. Jessica was our primary contact who handled the majority of the communications with us. The main aspect we loved about High Point versus other catering vendors we reviewed was that High Point was incredibly flexible when it came to the packages they offered. We started with a specific package, and if we wanted an item from a lower package or to add on an additional cocktail item, they were happy to accommodate us. That sort of flexibility was really valuable to us when considering what our guests may want in terms of food and the volume of dishes. Also, after our wedding, High Point gave us all of the leftovers, which we weren't expecting. So that was nice! It’s been a couple of weeks since our wedding, and we still have so much risotto left! High Point Events & Catering has been our firms 'go to' picnic planner/vendor for many years! They provide exceptional customer service from the planning process, to the event itself. One of the things I love most about working with High Point is that they are a 'one stop shop' - they provide everything we need such as venue location options, catering (food & beverage), A/V (TV viewing for football season/speakers/microphone), fun entertaining (face painter, giant lawn games, and more). The High Point staff are top notch, it was so easy working with Bob Eagan (President/Owner), Jeff Ingram (General Manager), and Katy Hoopengardner (Office Manager) - no worries, no stress! The 'day-of' event staff from the grillers to bartenders never missed a beat, and everyone is very friendly. The food is yummy; the bbq, taco station and desserts were delicious - they even provided take home boxes so nothing is wasted, and staff were able enjoy leftovers! We wanted to try a different picnic venue location this year, and Bob suggested the National Botanic Gardens / Ticonderoga. We are so happy that we put our trust in Bob for this venue recommendation. The views and nature are beautiful, along with a mix of whimsical atmosphere and art sprinkled in. The Stone Pavilion provided a lake view, picnic tables, and a large indoor/outdoor area, with a roof for shade. High Point and their staff are outstanding from start to finish! They are fantastic on every level, CBM knows we are in great hands working with them - they always provide exceptional service and events - which is why our firm returns every year!

High Point Events & Catering catered my wedding and did a phenomenal job. First of all, unlike many other caterers, they did a free tasting, which I really appreciated. Second, their staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating and patient with the numerous changes we made to guest count and the menu. (thank you to Jessica for putting up with all the emails!). And perhaps most importantly, the food on the day of was still excellent. Let's be honest, bulk cooked food for 100+ people is never going to taste as good as what you get at a tasting, but this was close as you could ask for! The Texas beef brisket was still so tender, flavorful and juicy, and the Peruvian chicken was similarly juicy and not over cooked (and chicken is so easy to and so often overcooked). All the desserts were also excellent but the bread pudding especially was amazing. We heard praise from numerous guests about the food especially about the brisket and bread pudding! And throughout, the bartenders and serving staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. On top of all that, the price was very very competitive. Nothing went wrong and we could not have asked for a better wedding caterer. Would highly recommend!!

One of the unique event planners I have seen in the US. I actually am able to compare High Point with planners in Dubai where details are abundant. High Point were not only involved but managed to really touch up with all my detailed requests. The crew was very professional. Jessica was simply amazing and always on top of things while we added details and was very flexible. Bob even attended our event and was involved in all major milestones. Thank you so much. High Point catered our summer picnic this year. They were spectacular. We asked for a unique duel menu - BBQ and Indian - to accommodate our guests. High Point brought in a separate caterer for the Indian portion so it was authentic and delicious. Their team was on time, prepared, polite, and exceptionally helpful! Communication was easy, and they were very flexible and versatile. We had a wonderful experience and will be using them again!

My company used High Point Catering for our company Family Picnic in June. This was our first time working with High Point Catering, and they exceeded all my expectations. I worked with Bob, Jessica, Jeff, and Katy. They were all pleasant and fantastic to work with. It was a very smooth process from start to finish, and I felt taken care of. They had such good attention to detail and ensured our Family Picnic was successful. The food was also delicious, and they had such a great selection. High Point Catering is also a one-stop shop. High Point provided tables, chairs, tablecloths, and additional services for our picnic. This made it easier for me, and I didn’t have to work with multiple companies. They had a list of services they provided, and I chose two face painters and a glitter tattoo artist. The kids loved it! I even got my face painted, and I’m in my 40’s! High Point Catering helped make our event successful and made my job easy. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a catering company.

My event was running a little behind so they kept the carafes of food in hot water so our food wouldn’t go cold. Lovely staff, great problem solvers, and the food was wonderful!

This is the second time I’ve used Highpoint and I just have to share how fantastic they are on every level. The first time we used them for my son’s engagement party and we had a wonderful outdoor pig roast. Highpoint not only made this event fun, festive and unique but the food was some of the best bbq we’ve ever had! Recently I went back to Highpoint when another caterer left me hanging and with just one week’s short notice, Bob Egan called me right back and said, “of course we can help”. I couldn’t believe with such short notice that they could do it! I should’ve contacted them first. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was professional, friendly and so hardworking. Tim Riedel and his High Point staff team provided outstanding services at the Legacy Capitol Planners Fall event last weekend in Darnestown Maryland. All of our attendees are raving and asking for the recipe, demanding we add the recipe to our website. My company had our first company Family Day event (in November!) and it was a smashing success! With approximately six weeks to plan, Jeff and Bob were wonderful to work with, making great suggestions and delivering on every request. We have already booked our event for 2023, but this time in June!

For the first time since 2019, we were able to include hot food for the annual Run Under the LIghts at Seneca Creek State Park. High Point Events had catered in the past, and brought all their expertise to our event this year. They served more than 700 runners at an outdoor venue, at night, in the cold. We received so many complements on the hot food from our participants! Jeff and Tim and the whole High Point team were great to work with and made everything go smoothly. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My husband and I worked with the High Point team to cater our wedding! Not only did they cater, but they handled our tables and chairs rentals. They took care of setting up tables and table decor. We worked with them item by item on our service quote to prioritize what was most important to us. They even set up a tasting for us to try some of the pieces of our meal a couple weeks before the wedding. The day of our wedding, high point staff made sure John and I got plates of the appetizers and the meal. This was so crucial! At the end of the night, high point gave to go boxes to our guests of the leftover food. Many of my friends appreciated this! We worked closely with Katy. She was such a delight! Food was delicious! Pit beef was my favorite.

Five stars isn't enough to express the outstanding service provided by the High Point team! This is a team of top notch experts that truly go above and beyond for their clients. I hired High Point for a celebratory corporate event for around 150 guests. We held the event in a tent in our parking lot. The event was beautiful both inside and out. The team took care of every logistic and detail including party rentals (tables, chairs, etc.), decorations that included beautiful fresh florals, AV services, etc. They took all the stress and guess work out of the process. The final product was just exceptional. The food was delicious and received many compliments from guests. The menu they recommended was spot on for the event. We also ordered cupcakes with our branded logo that were a huge hit with all who attended. While the food and final product were flawless, there are no words to express how wonderful the service was. Each member of the staff who was present for the event was kind, helpful, and professional. In addition, the event planning team was exceptionally helpful, attentive, and responsive throughout the entire process. Everyone on the team was awesome. I am so grateful to Bob, Jeff, Katy, Matt, Danny, Kara, and the entire High Point team. While these are the names of the folks I interacted with the most, those whose names I didn't catch were just as stellar and deserve the same level of recognition. High Point Events & Catering made our joint 40th Class Reunion an overwhelming success! The entire team was courteous, helpful and incredibly professional throughout the planning process, set up, service and clean up of our event at Bally Cliff Farm. Alumni from RMHS Classes of 1980, 1981 and 1982 had an incredible time celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime joint reunion event. Our company recently held an event at Bally Cliff Farm in Poolesville, MD/High Point, and it was amazing. The weather was perfect for Fall. The food was great, the location was THE BEST! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bob and the entire High Point crew. In June, we held a celebration of life dinner and gathering for my father, who passed away in February, and the High Point team was amazing every step of the way. They were kind, professional, reliable, and communicative throughout the whole planning process (not easy, since I was planning this event from out of state!) and made sure everything went perfectly during the event. The event was held at Rolling Ridge Farm and Stables in Laytonsville and the venue was even more beautiful than the pictures I saw. The food was great, everything ran to schedule, and every single member of the team was lovely and warm, going above and beyond. The bartender even spent 20 minutes during speeches when there was a lull at the bar helping to entertain my 18-month-old daughter to keep her occupied. We will absolutely use their services again.

We here are Greenridge Baptist have a long standing relationship with HIghpoint and have used them many times in the past. We chose them for a retirement event that we were hosting. Twenty four years after catering our wedding, we asked Bob Egan to cater our daughter's college graduation party. Covid rates were not great when we started planning so we wanted a location with well-ventilated indoor space and space for outdoor seating and activities; Bob suggested Timber Ridge Farm, which was perfect. It was a wonderful event. The team handled every detail so we could focus on our guests. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had plenty of options from which to choose, even for the vegetarian guests. The canopy-covered picnic tables provided safe and comfortable seating for guests who preferred to be outdoors and the opened sliders on the indoor space gave us a cross-breeze. Our guests enjoyed the play area for children, corn-hole, and volleyball. We give high points to High Point Catering!

High Point catered an Anniversary Reception in our backyard for our son and daughter-in-law on May 29. It was an incredible event. The High Point staff were amazing-so personable and professional. They went above and beyond to make our event special. The food was excellent. Bob told us that all we needed to do was bring people who were hungry and they will take care of the rest. High Point catered our organization’s (Young Artists of America) 10th Anniversary Celebration, at Strathmore, for 800 people. Plus a smaller cocktail party for 50. Bob, Meghan, Katy, and the entire team could not have been more professional! We had lots of curve balls thrown our way at the last minute, including the fact that mother nature did not cooperate, and High Point rose to the challenge. If you’re looking for a caterer that will go to any length to make your event special— and one that can be relied upon upon to problem solve and deliver on the fly— High Point should be your first call! We had a wonderful experience using High Point for our outdoor tented event. I had to deal with only a few vendors because almost everything was streamlined through High Point, which made things easy for me. Bob and Katy were a pleasure to work with. During the weeks before the event, both of them were on top of everything and responsive, at times responding to my emails within minutes. in addition, High Point did an incredible job ensuring that all guests were as safe as possible. I recently hosted a crab feast at High Point for my college alumni association! The whole planning process was incredibly easy and we absolutely would have our event here again. Bob and Jeff at High Point were very communicative and always available by phone or email with any questions we had. The food was good quality and reasonably priced. On the day of, the event staff was very helpful and willing to work with us on a few accommodations we needed done. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun, outdoor event space for your event. They listen to you, take your requests, and make sure you are satisfied!
