Location was absolutely beautiful, the staff were very friendly and made the check in perfect , we stayed in a yurt and that was a pretty cool experience, my only real problem was when renting in the winter your not close to any bathrooms, and having no amenities it was a bit pricey in my opinion ... but overall if your looking for a great place to stay and wonderful staff it's perfect

Great place to get away for the weekend. We stayed in the Tiger yurt and it was the perfect size. Rutvik showed us around to our spot and told us about some goood spots to walk around the property. Great place to go during a snow fall as well. Would highly recommend trying this place.

Had a wonderful night with everyone . There were 31 of us in total as far as family and friends . The chicken was amazing as usual and the apple crisp might be my new favourite thing there . The hospitality is always the best . Flo and Bruce and their guitarist and little drummer boy were amazing musicians and everyone was super accommodating to all of the guests . We rented the studio loft, two chalets , cedar and highlands yurt, rooms and en suites and a dome and the tiny house . Thank you thank you thank you .

We had an amazing weekend at Cabot Shores! We were a group of friends who stayed for three nights while skiing at Cape Smokey, which was less than a 30-minute drive away. It was such a treat to return each day to a clean, cozy space and our own private hot tub to warm up in. Paul was a fantastic host and made everything easy from start to finish. The executive chef prepared an incredible dinner, and we were lucky enough to experience a true Cape Breton kitchen party to cap off the night. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent hospitality, spectacular scenery, cozy lodging, great food, beautiful walking trails. The staff joyfully went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable.

Incredible nature space and lodging. The yurt I stayed in was so comfortable and cute- washrooms clean and closeby. Great music the night I was there and top notch food- fabulous chef!!! Caring and helpful staff. I’ll definitely be back, hopefully with my grown kids and grandkids.

We had a great stay at Cabot Shores! It was a truly unique experience to sleep in the Raven Dome with a cozy wood stove (necessary in November), cedar hot tub, and view of the stars.✨ Practically had the place to ourselves in the offseason and enjoyed excellent hospitality and some special attention as a result. We’re already scheming about coming back - maybe in a different season and different dome (or yurt?) - and would recommend this spot to other visitors to Cape Breton Island.

Had an absolutely amazing time every time we've went. Its in a great spot with lots of privacy and the accommodations were incredible. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away and disconnect from the outside world for a bit.

The location is beautiful, nice trails to explore. The yurts were warm and comfortable. My wife had a problem with going outside to reach the washrooms, but they were clean with easy access. The night we were there it rained the whole day and most of the night, no leaks in our yurt and we were able to use the hot tub that was under a roof. The staff were friendly and helpful. B Breakfast and supper were very tasty and service was excellent.

The spot is excellent the only thing that would make it even better to have your own shower , bathroom in your own yurt , and the hot tub more private , maybe dinner or breakfast be included with your stay ! But everyone was very pleasant and helpful !! Thank you so much 😊

We had an amazing stay at Cabot Shores. Darshill was super helpful and very patient with us. We thought we booked a spot that would accommodate us but quickly realized we were mistaken. Darshill helped make sure we found a space that was perfect. We will be back and recommend checking this place out!!

I stayed here on my motorcycle with a hammock in site 5 on September 19th. I was blown away with how much I enjoyed this campground. I’ve stayed at many, many places in my travels, and this was likely my favorite campground I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a pretty early stop on the Cabot Trail on the southeast end, which sets you up the next day for a full ride/drive going around counter-clockwise. The most important thing about the stay was the common area; there’s a 24hr lodge that acts as the office, bar, restaurant, and gathering space. Equally important was the staff. Rebecca brings an overwhelmingly positive energy and cleanses the space with sage (I think!) and is so pleasant. Chloe was the bartender and was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. I didn’t catch the lady working who checked me in, she was new, and so happy to be there. My only issue was the fact that I was traveling fast. I would have stayed a week if given the chance. Hope to see these folks in the future. Cheers 🍻

What else can I say about this Cape Breton hidden jem other than Magical. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with the hospitality you expect to receive. A must stop for anyone who plans to do some summer vacationing around the World famous Cabot Trail. We really enjoyed the privacy of the yurt “White Moon” with a cozy romantic feel thanks to an abundance of fire wood provided, a hot tub 2 steps out side the door to enjoy. There are others but White Moon was our favourite. The website shows others. I was so happy I convinced my wife to give it a try. She instantly fell in love with this heavenly oasis. It will be a must for every summer to come. Guys any woman would love this place and it will help with spicing up any relationship. There is a wooded path that leads to a beautiful beach nice and private. Your host Dr Paul sure created something heavenly in my eyes. Although we didn’t dine for dinner due to us eating an early dinner before arriving the menu sure is true bistro style fine dinning. With an abundance of excellent options to satisfy any diner’s appetite. Breakfast options are also just as great. So if you are planning to visit the island to do the trail, or want a night away for that special significant other this by far is worth every penny. We are looking forward to a winter night away as well. Honestly Brent Metcalfe

We had an incredible experience at Cabot Shores. The apple orchard yurt was adorable and very comfortable. The resort itself is very well laid out and each campsite feels private yet still close to the amenities (restaurant, spa, bathrooms, beach, etc). The restaurant was great and the spa was luxurious. We did a treatment with Rebecca that was very relaxing and rejuvenating. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

All good. If you’re over 6 feet tall just be aware that room three is much more suitable for munchkins. But more importantly, the owners and staff are precisely the type of caring and helpful people we all desire when booking and enjoying our vacations, especially in the areas we have not visited before. So kudos to the owners and staff!!!
