Just had a great experience with Sweeney's garage. Ash was so helpful sending videos to show me the parts of my car that needed replacing, showing exactly what was wrong with them and also a video to show the work had been done. I think this is a fantastic idea. Sweeney's have just taken over A Plus on the Boghall Road a few weeks ago. They fitted me in at short notice to make sure I didn't miss my NCT date and got the job done at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Ash, Andrea and all the mechanics at Sweeney's. Amazing job by Ayush and his colleagues. They were fully booked today, and I didn’t have an appointment, but they still checked my vehicle and fixed it without any hesitation. I recently brought my VW Golf to the garage for a full service before NCT, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Suraj was transparent and genuine the whole way through, explained it all clearly, and sorted out everything that needed attention. Car passed the NCT no problem. Highly recommend.

I recently had work done on my car and the team in Sweeney's Finglas were amazing. They are an old school garage, you are dealing directly with the mechanics the minute you walk in the gate. They listen to what you say. Suraj stayed in touch each step of the way, keeping me updated on the work needed, the reason why, and on the costs. He advised on how to try resolve an OBD O2 sensor fault myself when they could have told me only they could fix it. When I decided to get the work done professionally, I went back to Sweeney's and was very happy that it was sorted quickly and easily and for a great price. I have never found a mechanic I trusted enough to go back a second time until now and will be going a 3rd and 4th time when I'm ready for new tyres and timing belt my next service. I am happy to recommend Sweeney's in Finglas to anyone who wants a mechanic they can trust and rely on to get the work done quickly and at a reasonable price. I'm not great at remembering names but every of the lads I spoke with were friendly and helpful and more importantly, they listened.
