This wonderful company came in and saved my friend after Good Greek Moving and Storage could not get her two couches out the door and put a hole in the ceiling, gouged walls and damaged door frames. Mike and Donnie came last minute and got the couches out in 2 minutes. Raquel in customer service is an angel and is so sweet and patient. Mike and Donnie worked so hard removing the rest of the items all with a smile and attention to detail. It was such a relief and breath of fresh air after the nightmare with Good Greek!

I highly recommend SF Local Moving, Inc. I hired them for a move in the past and just hired them for another move this past weekend because they did such a wonderful job. For both moves, SF Moving sent gentlemen who incredibly respectful to me-I’m a single woman and I felt very comfortable with them. They were extremely careful with my belongings and with the residential properties I moved in and out of. None of my items got damaged and neither did any walls. They are very fast, too. I don’t remember the names of the 2 gentlemen who helped with my first move. The names of the gentlemen who helped with my move this weekend were Mike & Tony and they were awesome! My instincts tell me that all movers this company sends are carefully vetted. This is the best experience I have ever had with a moving company. In addition, Raquel (who I believe may be an owner) contacted me to tell me I overpaid by $25 so they could refund me—this speaks volumes of this company’s integrity. I have used SF Local Moving for 3 moves, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. In our last move, they moved a piano for us and it was handled with utmost care. All of our furniture was wrapped and transported carefully, the movers were efficient, courteous and respectful and there were no hidden fees.

They were super responsive and transparent about their prices for a move from Hollywood to Parkland on the front end and offered an excellent value. So good that I was a little nervous the days leading up to the move. I received a confirmation the day before and the morning of the move they showed up exactly at the time promised. Abe Raksin, the owner, is wonderful. His wife Raquell originally answered and was just lovely. Abe came with an assistant Donny. I want to thank Angie's List for the first company you emailed to me for excellent service removing many items from my house to be disposed of on 5/31 by Abe. Raquell answered right away at SF local moving. From the first word she spoke, i just knew i was in good hands, which never wavered. The other companies given would not even give me a moment of their time, Abe, Raquell, and Donny worked very well together courteous, helpful beyond words. They remained polite, thoughtful, and careful with all of my items. They worked very hard with some very heavy items. I wanted to give them more than a 15% tip even before the came because they handled everything from the first word to the last with such kindness and professionalism. If they would have me again, I would use them in a heartbeat and would not hesitate to give them top recognition that is well deserved. They were right on time and courteous all the way through.

GREAT! Raquel was terrific helping us set this up. Abe and his helper carefully moved everything from our daughter's Townhouse with a stop at a storage facility on Miller Rd. to get a sofa, to the ultimate destination at her apartment on Valencia in Coral Gables. They did all this in a driving rainstorm and in spite of the rain did a wonderful job.

Very well. The movers were running about 10 minutes late, but they called to let me know. They did the job quickly, carefully, and efficiently. Their manner was always professional. The service cost $300 for 3 hours. If it had taken longer than 3 hours, I would have had to pay extra. But they finished the job with 20 minutes to spare.

The move went well. The office staff was helpful, and even though we had a lot of boxes, the movers were friendly, patient and professional. Would recommend.

It went great! A 3 man work team arrived the day before the move and helped pack the remaining items. The next day they arrived on time and set to work. They were courteous, good natured, willing to adapt and adept. They packed the things going into public storage like experts. They worked 15 hours and the bill came to $2200 including materials and an extra $100 because there were 3 drop off spots. I have already told them I want the same team when we move to the new house in January.

Wonderful moving service by the SF Local Moving crew. Four movers moved us: Eden, Ron and Ronald - led by Abe. They were on time (amazing for movers!), worked efficiently and professionally. SF Local Move is a top notch company! Starting from our quick and detailed responses through Angie's List to the crew arriving to complete the job our experience could not have been better! The crew arrived on time and got to work right away and did not stop! The three gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable on the moving process which included utilization of the elevator from the 25th floor across the parking garage to the service area where their truck was located. Once they had a full elevator, two would ride down to load the items in the truck while one stayed behind in the apartment to prep the remaining items to be loaded as soon as they returned. We appreciated the effective time management approach throughout the entire process! We utilized the coupon available through Angie's List; however we would use them again even if this was not offered. We have moved many times through out the years and are thankful for the professional, top quality help we received to make this the whole experience as stress-less as possible.

OUTSTANDING!!! Appointment was for 8am, Abe and two others arrived a little before 8. I moved my car, so they could have easier access. Everyone came in, surveyed what was to be moved. Abe directed what was to be wrapped and the dolly needs and then went to work. At 8:40am they were gone from my driveway. They delivered 75 miles away within the estimated time and costs. Raquel, in the office, handled everything electronically with speed and accuracy. Suggestions: Make a list of all items to be moved for accuracy and be ready for your appointment. An excellent company to work with!

They were great. Showed up on time and worked straight through. My new place was on the third floor with no elevator. They moved it all in without a single complaint. My favorite thing about these guys was their honesty. When a small partial shelve broke (not a big deal at all and was easy to fix), instead of hiding it as other movers had done in the past, he came directly to me and told me. I really admired that and it showed in my tip of 20%. These se guys are great... Hire them!

I can't express enough how wonderful this moving company is. I have had others in the past that broke almost as many things as they moved in. I will never use CL or one of those off companies again. SF local called a little before and actually arrived early! Abe was the absolute best!! He took care in wrapping our things like they were his own, showing us any minor details that needed to be sorted out. We moved from a 4th floor unit to a storage bin so he took extra care in making sure the storage bin was packed perfectly as well as things like mattresses etc, being wrapped up with care, I have never scene a storage bit put together so impeccably. All the movers did a great job! Putting up with my mother which alone is no easy task, lol THE BEST!!! I will def hire them back as soon as I move into my new place. A+++++++++++++

Everything was fine. I paid more than the Big Deal because there was an initial plus hourly rate and I think it ended up with a couple of extra hours. I think I paid about $400. They could have done it a little faster, otherwise, I was happy.

The three man team was very professional. They arrived exactly on time as requested, went right to work. It was a difficult move for many reasons. After reviewing several local moving companies for our local move (3 miles from our previous home) I was pleased with the reviews I read for SF Local Moving Inc. As a lifetime Miami native I am always skeptical when it comes to services as unfortunately Miamians don't have the best reputation with reliability. Thankfully that was not at all the case with SF Local Moving. My initial call was handled by a very nice woman named Raquel. I had many questions and she was more than happy to answer them. The questions she was unsure of she had me email the company and I had a reply within the day. I scheduled with them approximately a month prior to the moving date. Our move was scheduled for 9am last Thursday morning. Abe (the owner of the company) and his crew, (2 gentlemen) arrived at 8:52 am. I went outside to greet them and they each extended their hands and introduced themselves. Abe asked to come in so I could give him a quick tour of my belongings. Once he assessed what needed to be done he instructed the crew and so began the move. I had an average amount of furniture for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home and also many large and medium size boxes that filled the dining room area. They had the entire apartment packed neatly into the truck in an hour and a half. This included wrapping anything fragile including leaning mirrors, artwork and delicate furniture. We drove to the new apartment and again the crew of 3 (including Abe) each took their post (one man unloaded the truck, the other brought in the furniture and boxes while the 3rd unwrapped and placed the items). They put up everything they broke down, which included putting the bed frame together and placing box spring/mattress and also hanging my TV back on the TV stand. The entire job was complete in 2 hours and 50 minutes! I was astonished at how quickly and professionally the job was handled. Very organized! I paid $395 for a 3 hour, 3 man crew on a 26' truck as there was a special being offered on Angie's list. I was hoping they could do it in the allotted time but was prepared for it to take longer. They completed this job in UNDER the 3 hours!!! I am a pretty picky person and am not easy to impress but this company TRULY IMPRESSED ME. From their punctuality to their professionalism and efficiency, they are top notch! I couldn't be happier with the service and to boot they were all very friendly. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for trustworthy, professional and competent local movers. It doesn't get better than SF Local Moving Inc.!

All of them were absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to help me move back with ease . Abe put my bed back together ..re fitted the TV's back on the brackets ( the brackets were already fitted to the wall but it isn't easy to re attach a television ) went beyond the call of duty in every aspect of the move ..and finished well within the paid time frame ..still had half hour of the 3 hours i'd booked ! All in all i would recommend all 3 of these fine hard working gentlemen and the lady who takes the orders on the phone is aldo superb with quick response to e mails and questions . We're downsizing, and that meant moving many items from our 4/3 home in the Gables to a smaller 2/2 1/2 condo in South Miami. Booking via Angie's List was seamless, and the price -- $395 for 3 hours with 3 movers -- was more than fair. They arrived exactly at 10am. That's freaky punctuality for a mover. They went right to work, padding furniture items, even disassembling a table once they were told that the condo requires going up a flight of stairs. They followed the instructions perfectly, and asked me to walk through to make sure that they got everything right before driving out to the new place. They did get everything right. The destination condo wasn't for the timid. It's a short flight of stairs followed by a long flight of stairs to get to the front door -- and an entire master bedroom had to go up yet another flight of stairs. The moving crew was personable and never complained. They got it done -- and just under the 3 hours. The price was exactly what I was quoted (plus $5 for tape), and I would use them again if I ever needed to move again.

Moving is stressful. Everyone tells you so, but you never fully understand until you're in the throes of it. As the day wore on, and my family and I became more tired (the adrenaline wore off), our patience starting running thin. Stressed about where we should put boxes, set up furniture, etc starting to take its toll. Abe never flinched once and stepped up to the plate at every turn. Frankly, it is remarkable to see someone keep their cool, while moving someone else's life from one place to another, let alone in the extremely hot Florida sun, while everyone is telling you what to. Way to go Abe and crew...you were a pleasure to work with!

When we got to my storage unit, this crew performed a minor miracle by playing jigsaw and getting everything to fit in (what turned out to be) an undersized unit. Due to the third story walk up I was moving from and the space issues at the storage unit on the back-end, I went an hour over the three hour special. However, this definitely was NOT because they were moving slowly. I think other companies would have probably taken twice as long. Also, SF Local Moving's extra hour surcharge was much more reasonable than my experience with a different Angie's List recommended moving company. I dealt with Raquel via email to set up the appointment and she was very helpful in finding a time that worked for me. On the day of the move, the crew was early and called me to make sure I was on the way (usually it's the other way around!). They came well prepared and quickly wrapped and loaded what I needed. Everything was well protected and secured in the truck. Once at the apartment, I had some things to be moved downstairs before unloading the truck and they took care of that as well. The entire job took much less than I anticipated and was done professionally and efficiently. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Thanks!

SF Local Moving Inc just finished a 3 person move from one bedroom Miami Apt to townhouse in Miami about 15 minutes away. SF Local Moving showed up a little bit late (20 minutes) but did not count those 20 minutes in their calculation (without us having to ask them to take it off). So no harm no foul in my opinion. We paid to have their three people three hours special. Overall, they did a great job. I had never seen furniture wrapped up in such a professional looking manner. Mental note- if I ever own expensive things, definitely use these guys. They were polite and courteous during the entire process. My only caution is that you should not expect to have a 3 hour move under any realistic scenario (at the time of this move, SF Local Moving had coupon specials for 3 hour jobs). We had 95% of our things boxed and ready to go and we lived in a one bedroom apartment that was 15 minutes away from the place we were moving our stuff too. Despite all that, and with three movers, it was nowhere near to being done in 3 hours. That being said positive experience, and would use them again.

This is the second time I am using Abe and his team. They showed up on time, were very professional and careful with everything. I've had to move multiple times due to job changes and my experiences with Abe and his group have by far been the best. There was nothing broken or damaged in the move and they took very good care in packing my property. It is difficult to find reliable movers, quite frankly difficult to find any trustworthy service provider in the south Florida area, but Abe and his team are a true exception. I am scheduling an additional move for my sister very soon and we will absolutely be using him again. Price, quality and service are all top notch. Thanks again Abe.

The movers called prior to arrival advising on their ETA. When they arrived they assessed the job and began to move all the boxes in an efficient manner. They were courteous and cautious regarding their surroundings. They moved all the materials into the storage area in an organized and safe manner so as to prevent any unnecessary damage to the items. The work was performed with excellence and total professionalism.

Well you can see many details in my prior comments. We had a special request moving from a rental and that was to swap the refrigerator. We purchased the one at the rental property and our new home had a refrigerator that we didn't need. This fine crew made sure to give us ample time to get our groceries out of one fridge but not so much as to have our refrigerated food start to have a moment. They loaded it last, made sure to unload it, move it into place allowing me to get our cold groceries in place with nary a meltdown. Loved Abe and his crew would recommend him with no hesitation.

A for Awesome!! Abe came out and gave me a price...I interviewed 2 other movers and chose Abe. I plugged in a date of Aug 14 and was booked. On Aug ,5th, I emailed Raguel ( Abe's wife) and asked if there was any way we could move some of the furniture that Sunday and the remaining furniture on the scheduled date of Aug 14, the following Friday. She said yes! I did this because the move was only 5 miles away and I was doing all the packing and unpacking by myself. Abe, Jeffrey and Eden showed up ....on time and ready to work. They were professional and so courteous....I was at ease and they were the reason. Everything was carefully wrapped and protected. They were careful with all my possessions....not a scratch and nothing broken!! Then....they came back on Aug 14th and moved the remaining items. I was surprised how many things I had accumulated...it would have taken two trips anyway.....and I am sure the price would have been the same. I highly recommend SF Local Movers to anyone moving..... I am NEVER moving again....but if I do, I will call Abe and Raquel!!

Bought deal, $295 for 2 guys+26' truck for 3 hours. Was concerned that one, they wouldn't have enough time, specially since some furniture needed to be taken apart, or two, they would work slow on purpose to charge extra. Both concerns laid to rest quick. The were fast, efficient, and overall very professional. The were done with 45 mins to spare. Everything was wrapped to avoid scratches. No complaints whatsoever. Really glad I called them.

I had booked these guys for 3 hours for a simple move. I was having a trailer from UPACK delivered between 8-10am and booked SF Local for 10-1. They were to bring the contents of a 1 bedroom condo down an elevator and pack it right into the trailer. Unfortunately, the building management receptionist marked the trailer down as a POD and never asked for measurements. At 8am I received a call from the driver saying he can't fit in the garage. I freaked out for a few minutes. We ended up being told we could deliver our stuff to the trailer at the warehouse about 30 minutes away. We rented a UHaul. We called SF Local and told them the change of plans and asked if they could please help. They brought an extra guy, so that made 3. And somehow managed to pack all our stuff into this tiny Uhaul. We all drove over to the warehouse, backed the trailer up to the Uhaul and within 30 minutes everything was packed in tightly for the long drive. We can't thank SF Local enough. Nothing was broken, not even my 6 person glass table. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Abe and his crew were great. I've moved a lot (interstate, cross country, and locally). Abe and his guys are great. The price was more than reasonable. He and his guys showed up on time and were courteous and efficient. The total cost ended up being lower than the original estimate. The crew arrived on time (no waiting around). They got to work right away and took great care with my belongings. I was quite impressed. This was the least painful move that I have ever experienced. I highly recommend these guys for a local move.

The move out of storage went very smoothly. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the condo building, they were not allowed to enter the elevator from the main floor but were required to push all these heavy pieces up three garage ramps to reach the elevator. This slowed the move considerAbly which was not their fault, but they did finish by the building required 5 PM deadline. They were meticulously careful to cover our newly refinished floors with moving quilts so as not to do any damage. The owner,Abe, measured the spaces for placement, and everything arrived undamaged. It was extremely hot that day and we did provide them with drinks and lunch which they appreciated.

The move was somewhat more labor intensive than planned. I under-estimated the amount of furniture and particularly the size and weight. They met the challenge and completed everything I needed.

I just moved a 1 bedroom apt to an storage place. It went super smooth. Abe and Jef made so easy. They got there on time, were very careful and made sure everything was wrapped and packed. No garbage was left behind, no scratches on the walls. Very professional and nicely done. Raquel was very polite and answered all my questions. Overall the nightmare of moving was very easy and pleasantly done with no hassles. I would recommend and would use their services again. Thank you guys!!!!
