Although I only needed a small(ish) guttering repair job doing Jason was more than happy to help. He was super responsive and kept me fully updated about when he could do the job. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and as I was at work, he sent me photos of the problem and the work they were doing to fix it. The two men who actually worked on the roof were excellent. They were clearly very competent but also they were easy to have around on the property, undemanding, good at explaining what they were doing, and they left the site clean and tidy. The organising of scaffolders, skips, etc, was also very good. I would strongly recommend Cambridge Roofing and Plastics to anyone who needs a good roofer.

Our roof leaked fusing the electrics during our buyers’ survey. Jason was so quick that all the lead flashing was replaced within a week despite the job needing scaffolding. Fantastic job, everything done when he said it would be, saved the day.

Following water ingress from the roof of my single storey extension I contacted Cambridge Roofing & Plastics. Jason very promptly visited my property assessed the situation and supplied a quote later that day. Within a couple of days Jason and his team arrived back on site with all materials to carry out a full flat roof redesign and repair. Had rain water leaking in through a wall underneath a flat roof. Called Cambridge Roofing & Plastics and Jason came out the same day. Advised I would need scaffolding just to get up onto the roof because of awkward positioning. Jason arranged this very quickly and came back the next day to quote. Gave me a few options on work that could be carried out. The team started work on replacing the flat roof as soon as the weather was clear, coming out in -6C temp on first day! Some more problems were identified once work started but Jason advised throughout on best course of action. Jason and team are clearly very knowledgeable, and kept me up to date with pictures and videos of the work. Price for the work was at the higher end, but you pay for what you get, and the team have provided high quality work and clearly didn't want to cut any corners on the job. Would highly recommend.

We needed all the tiles on our house roof replaced and spray insulation removed from the loft so we called Jason at Cambridge Roofing and Plastics. He replied promptly with a quote and started work within a few days. Nick and his crew completed the work to a high standard, to the extent that a solar panel installer commented on the excellent quality of the work and asked who had done it. Cambridge Roofing an Plastics have installed an eaves guard, repaired the guttering, and relayed a narrow course of felt above our alley. They found an old birds nest and a wasps nest in the roofing and reacted appropriately to the damage they'd caused. They reacted very promptly for a quote request and did some immediate work for free while on the premises. Although the work was delayed slightly due to illness and weather it was carried out within a week, which seemed very prompt. The final payment became due equally promptly and was requested on the day following the work. I had had a separate quote for the work, which was significantly lower. I had a ground-based quote (access requires scaffolding) from the two companies - Cambridge Roofing and Plastics quoted as much for the erection of scaffolding as the other company had quoted for the entire job (which included the erection of scaffolding). On initial access to the roof using scaffolding Cambridge Roofing and Plastics revised the quote upwards to almost twice the quote of the other company. I was surprised by the size of both. They both had one more digit than I was expecting! Nonetheless the fact that both were four digits does something to reassure me that this is currently the going rate. In summary: (1) this company seems very responsive, and the quality of the work they do seems high (to my untrained eye); (2) it is possible that their prices may be higher than alternatives.
