I could not recommend this shop more! Sara is an amazing stylist offering valuable insight and such an efficient approach to dress selection. Elaina was so helpful making sure each dress I put on was clipped to show me exactly how the dress should look. The whole experience was so fun and comfortable. 1 visit and I’ve said yes to my dress!

The ladies at NYBG, particularly Sarah and the owner Tracy, brought so much peace and support to my dress shopping experience. Their patience, kindness, honesty and service made each visit a joy and a pleasure ♥️ This was one of the only bridal shops in the Charlotte area that didn’t require an appointment and payment in order to try-on gowns which was great for someone like me who preferred to not shop with a large group each time I wanted to check out a dress on a whim. If I called in advance, Sarah would have a room with my name on it (literally) waiting for me — I always felt special, even after the 8th visit, lol! I placed my dress order about a month ago with them because I really felt like they earned and more than deserved my business more so than any of the other 3 shops I visited. I am forever grateful for the time I spent with the ladies at NYBG and will refer any future brides to them without a doubt.

Absolutely recommend New York Bride and Groom of Charlotte! Corey in particular went above and beyond and truly saved my wedding. I had fallen in love with a dress at the Raleigh location, but since I started dress shopping a bit late, it wouldn’t have arrived in time for my wedding. The only size available in-store was too big. I called the Charlotte location hoping for a miracle, and Corey picked up. Even though they didn’t have the dress in my size either, Corey took it upon himself to dig a little deeper—and he FOUND my exact dress and size in California! He ordered it for me, and it arrived in Raleigh in just four weeks—plenty of time before the wedding. He absolutely saved the day, and I’m so grateful. Thank you, Corey

I came here looking for a dress last minute and they helped me out and gave me great suggestions they helped find different ways to make the dress unique and they did a ceremony which was so wonderful . They really do make you feel good welcomed and appreciated there . I also went to go suit shopping for my husband and it was the best as well . He felt comfortable the stylist helped to ensure everything was perfect. He customized his style and they supported it and offered suggestions and thoughts honest opinions and i loved it. Thank you soo much this is a great location with lovely people who loveee to do what they do. I definitely will recommend this location to everyone else

I didn’t know they make Custom Suits! My wife talked to the store manager, Cory, about setting me up with one from their “Suited” line. All I had to do was show up and try it on. Craig greeted & welcomed me, and made the process so easy. After taking measurements, They said they would call me in 2 weeks, but it only took 1 . Tailoring is A1, fabric & construction are top shelf as well. Awesome family operation. Will definitely be back

Please read! I promise you won’t regret it! If you’re unsure which bridal shop to go to first or which to add to your list…please stop here!!! I could write an entire essay on why you should visit New York Bride and Groom. My entourage and I visited 3 other bridal shops beforehand and NY Bride and Groom was the last shop on our list. It was the perfect dress experience! I like having a little bit of space when I shop, I don’t like to be crowded or feel as though someone is trying to sell me on something. I felt so comfortable perusing around their dresses and they’re so well staffed that if I needed any assistance, someone was always there! They have a HUGE variety of so many different types and styles of dresses. The prices were shockingly affordable! Literally everyone working there was super friendly and you felt the good vibes! It was such a great experience that even the other brides there were super sweet and supportive! Sarah and Keyana were phenomenal! They helped my mom and I so much with trying on ALL the dresses. Needless to say I found my beautiful dress there, said YES to the dress, and rang the gong (so much fun btw)! Huge shoutout also to Tracy! Tracy, I’m so grateful for this shop because, after visiting 3 other bridal shops I sort of got discouraged and wondered if I’d even find the right dress. I am so happy I found it here and look forward to seeing it during the alteration process! I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience at New York Bride & Groom! This was the very first place I went dress shopping, and I brought my girls with me to kick off the search. Even though I didn’t end up purchasing my dress here, the entire experience was unforgettable—and that was all thanks to Joanne. Joanne was truly the BEST. She spent nearly three hours with me during my first appointment, patiently walking me through different styles, fits, and fabrics, and letting me try on so many options to help me figure out what I loved. She made me feel so comfortable and supported through what can definitely be an overwhelming process. Her kindness, expertise, and calming energy made all the difference. My girls and I absolutely adored her, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better introduction to wedding dress shopping. If you’re looking for a bridal shop with an amazing selection and even better people—especially Joanne—this is the place to go!

This was the first place I tried on dresses and found my perfect dress under two hours of being there. Sarah was the one who helped us out and she absolutely killed it. She was handling me and another bride and i felt like i had her full attention. 10/10 would recommend this shop and maybe even ask for Sarah to help you if she’s on shift. Thanks Sarah!
