MCC has amazing, super experienced teachers who just get how to encourage kids and help them shine. It’s totally family-oriented and everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The school is pretty "no frills," but don't let that fool you. They are all about providing a strong foundation. When we switched our kid from another daycare, he just thrived at this school! And can we talk about their graduation ceremony? It was genuinely top-notch! The kids had learned several cultural songs and dances, and seeing them perform was just the best. It's the kind of place that really builds confidence and a love for learning.

My child has attended the Infant and Toddler 1 programs at Montessori Children's Center-Herndon and our experience has been phenomenal! This is a nurturing environment where children grow in all aspects of their development. Beginning as infants, children participate in circle time each morning and are exposed to a variety of concepts. As children grow into toddlerhood, they are taught to care for their environment by cleaning their space and pushing in their chair as well as for the people around them by using “please” and “thank you” in their interactions. Gross and fine motor skills are worked on at each developmental stage starting with tummy time to using a writing utensil by toddlerhood. Children develop their language skills through music, offered once a week in English and once a week in Spanish. Classrooms are arranged for materials and activities to be accessed by children independently. Children are provided an opportunity to participate in educational activities of personal choice, following the Montessori approach. Every day my child has been at Montessori Children's Center Herndon, I have been confident they are in excellent hands and they are in an enriched learning environment!

My family and I love this school!!! My son attended this school until this past fall when he started Kindergarten and his teachers can definitely tell the difference between him and his other peers in class. He is way ahead of the curve with his reading, writing and math skills. He shows confidence when taking on assignments in and out of the classroom. The staff from the Montessori Children's Center went above and beyond to prepare my son for his educational future. My daughter is currently attending this school and we couldn't be happier with the progress she is making. She is also reading, writing and practicing math skill well beyond other children her age that we know who are in enrolled in other schools. I would, and have, highly recommended the Montessori Children's Center to anyone I know with children or who are planning on having children. The teachers and their assistants are fantastic! They are always available anytime I have questions or want to talk about my child's progress. The administrative is superb! They are quick to respond anytime I have a request or need information from them. If you are looking for a dependable, caring and warm environment for your children, this is the place!

We sent both our kids to MCC and had good experience. MCC is a great school for anyone whos looking for friendly environment, focusing on good education from certified Montessori teachers and fun based activities. They are accredited, so they follow the protocols and meet standards to develop the kids ready for their next big step. The new management has made improvements like using the smart mobile apps that greatly helped us to know what kids have done today, the upcoming activities. They listen to parents feedback and incorporate it as needed.

I toured several places for my infant daughter. Even though it was further from our home than other places we looked at, we decided on Montessori Children's Center because of the small classroom size, diversity in the students and teachers, and the attentiveness of the director. I am so impressed that the director takes the time to know each of the children and their progress. My daughter is now 18 months and has been going here for more than a year. She has really flourished in the toddler classroom and in the last three month has learned a lot of new words, activities, and songs. They also have a really fun and educational summer program for the children. I'm happy with our choice to send our daughter here and would encourage anyone looking for a reliable preschool to look at MCC.

My 5 year old twins started school last year and I cannot thank their class teachers and all other staff enough for their teaching skills, understanding, warmth, love and care they have shown. I have seen drastic improvement in their capabilities. School is a place where kids should feel they are safe and free to be themselves but at the same time there has to be discipline. I saw this balance in MCC. I feel lucky to have found this school for my kids. I highly recommend this school.

We have had a great experience at MCC. Our daughter had a hard time adjusting to drop offs initially but Ms Absi and all her teachers were great about letting her take her time. She now loves going to her class and we feel very welcome everytime we pick her up!

Both our kids have done their preschool with Montessori Children's Center. Both learned tremendously from their time at MCC. Ms. Fiaza, Ms. Shaheena, Ms. Amrit, and all the teachers are superb at creating an a rich curriculum and environment where kids learn skills necessary to get a step up as they get ready for elementary school. They have been fabulous at teaching the kids these skills, at nurturing their personalities, at helping them become independent and confident little people.
