This was my second junp, the first one being elsewhere about 12 years ago! Since this wasn't my first jump I had some expectations, and honestly the best advice I can give to anyone here is 1) do it, and 2) ask any and all questions you have. Everyone is here to enjoy and share their sport with you and mutual trust is paramount! Ask them to double check the tightness of your harness if you want, ask them how high you'll jump from (if you want to know!), ask them whatever makes you feel comfortable. They'll provide you with plenty of and all the info that you need. Just make sure you ask if you want to know more...nobody's going to take offense! There's a clearly very passionate group of people here: regular jumpers, employees, and other tandem first timers. It's a very welcoming atmosphere. I jumped with Nick who was extremely thorough in our initial prep/checks, repeating our checks, expectations, and plans. I was in good hands with him and I had a ton of fun during my jump. They'll be as mild or wild as you want. There's a palpable camaraderie here in the air and on the ground. Just do the jump, you'll miss out if you don't!
